This body of work is a unique series that explores the idea that our past memories can exist in the present; that our previous experiences can create emotions that are so powerful that at times we are able to relive them in the present.

At a staggering 183cm high and 122cm wide these works are emotionally overwhelming. The movement of the paint and the textures created just under the surface change with the light. Although there is a constant sense of movement these works also allow a chance for reflection. At once you are drawn in and pushed away from the painting. You find yourself entering into a battle to see the truth beneath the surface much as we find ourselves doing when recollecting a memory.
